the University of Tokyo established the Planetary Health Research Institute with the aim of addressing diverse social challenges. With a vision for a better life and a richer living environment for the next 100 years, the Institute takes Planetary Health as its central theme—analyzing and responding to the impacts of human activities on the Earth’s natural systems, human health, and all living organisms.
